Taíno Cosmology

Day 14 – The Alchemy of Sun, Moon, and Storm

As the Waxing Crescent Moon in Scorpio rises, we enter the moon of awakening depth—the quiet flame after rebirth, where power begins to take shape. Scorpio energy asks us to look beneath appearances, to merge with what is hidden, to transform by remembering what is eternal.

The Taíno cosmology held this same truth long before the zodiac we know today was ever mapped. Their spirituality wasn’t linear; it was cyclical, elemental, and cosmic all at once. Every sunrise, storm, and tide carried divine instruction.

☀️

Yúcahu – The Solar Current of Creation

Yúcahu, spirit of the Sun and giver of cassava, embodied vitality, abundance, and divine masculine energy. He represents the eternal flame of consciousness—the same fire that astrologers call the Solar Self, the part of us that radiates identity and purpose.

Yúcahu teaches us to anchor our light in the physical world—to shine, to feed others through our gifts, and to honor the balance between giving and growing. When I track solar codes or light-body activations in astrology, I feel Yúcahu’s current: the pulse that keeps creation alive.

🌙

Atabey – The Lunar Current of Return

Atabey, the Great Mother, was both river and womb—the embodiment of emotional intelligence and sacred water. She represents the Moon in her full power, guiding the tides of feeling, fertility, and intuition.

In modern astrology, the Moon governs our emotional nature, memory, and need for belonging. But in Taíno understanding, the Moon wasn’t just internal—it was relational. She was the breath of God through water, the mirror of Yúcahu’s fire.

Atabey reminds us that healing happens through flow, not control. Each lunar ritual—each cup of cacao, each ocean prayer—is a return to her embrace.

🌪️

Guabancex – The Storm of Transformation

Guabancex is the living force of chaos and balance—the Scorpio energy before it was ever named. Her hurricanes tore through stagnation so that new growth could emerge.

She teaches us the cosmic law that destruction is never the end—it is the recalibration of creation. In modern spiritual terms, she embodies shadow work, chaos magick, and emotional alchemy.

When I lead Reiki or CE5 meditations under stormy skies, I feel her presence—ferocious yet sacred. She is the pulse that clears what no longer serves so we can embody the next version of our light.

🌞🌙🌀

The Taíno Trinity as Celestial Mirror

Yúcahu (Sun), Atabey (Moon), and Guabancex (Storm) form a living trinity of cosmic consciousness. They are not separate gods but forces within a single organism—just as in astrology, each planet is an aspect of one soul.

This trinity reflects the three phases of soul evolution:

  1. Creation (Yúcahu) – The birth of light and purpose.

  2. Reflection (Atabey) – The cultivation of wisdom through emotion and cycles.

  3. Transformation (Guabancex) – The death and rebirth that restores cosmic balance.

To study the stars is to study this dance.

To live it is to remember that we, too, are suns, moons, and storms learning to harmonize.

Galactic Shamanic Astrology & Taíno Roots

My work as a Galactic Shamanic Astrologer is not about predicting fate—it’s about remembering frequency. The Taíno understood the stars as living beings, just as I see planets and constellations as gateways of consciousness.

When we combine ancient cosmology with galactic awareness, we realize that nothing has been lost—only renamed. The same forces guiding Yúcahu’s rays or Guabancex’s winds still move through our natal charts and our DNA.

Astrology, like Taíno cosmology, is a language of remembrance.

It teaches us to see beyond the personality and into the pattern—the signature of our Higher Self weaving through time and form.

🌺

Reflection & Invitation

Tonight, under the Scorpio Crescent, close your eyes and ask:

💫 What storm has passed through me to reveal my light?

💫 What aspect of my soul—the Sun, the Moon, or the Storm—is leading me now?

You are part of the same rhythm the Taíno once danced under—the balance of creation, emotion, and transformation. The stars are not above you; they are within you.
