Somatic field forecast : Jan 25-31 2026

Upper Midwest area

This is a nervous-system weather note integrating the oceans, Great Lakes, and local sky into how your body might feel this week.

  • Global Oceans: oceans still running warm overall (yellow/orange/red), with cool blue bands cutting through the equator and Southern oceans.

  • Great Lakes: ice cover has jumped to ~37% (from single digits earlier in the month) = big freeze/lock-in of our regional water body.

  • Body Forecast: This week isn’t a big outward push; it’s a “recalibrate after survival mode” week.

Weekly prediction of Post Lock-Down Hangover, Thaw Lines + Emotional Slush, and Choosing Your Pace.

Ocean Field - Global Water Mood

What the oceans are doing.

The oceans are still running warmer than average overall (yellow–orange–red), with cooler blue bands across parts of the equator and Southern oceans. Translation: the planetary field is charged and active, not calm — like there’s still extra “emotion and momentum” in the background, even if our local temps ease a bit.

Great Lakes Field

Lakes as the Local Amplifier

Great Lakes total ice cover : 36.8% (increased drastically)

Ice cover has jumped to around 37%. Earlier in the month the Lakes were more open; now they’re locking in. Our local water body is saying,

“We’re stabilizing, but we’re frozen over the feelings for a bit.”

MOST IMPORTANT!!! The direction of the wind is a factor that determines if the Great Lakes air goes towards you (especially Lake Superior side).

NW / N winds versus W / SW winds give different influences and planning.

Expect another week where emotional + body weather can flip quickly. From days of clear, cold focus to days of damp ache/ tenderness/ foggy and resetting again.

Local Sky & Pressure

St.Croix / Twin Citites area

We’re stepping out of one of the harshest cold stretches of the season for our region.

Last week we sat inside an Arctic Crystal Lockdown: brutal temps, dangerous wind chills, extremely dry air, and a heavy high-pressure dome that kept the atmosphere rigid and unforgiving.

Even if you stayed inside, your nervous system knew exactly how intense that field was.

We’re shifting from brutal deep freeze into “less dangerous but still cold”, with some variability in clouds and wind. The nervous system is trying to downshift out of survival mode, but it hasn’t fully caught up yet.

Energetically this week reads as...

Recovery from survival → emotional thaw → choosing a sustainable pace.

Somatic Field Forecast

How this week May Feel In Your Body

Using last week's daily field scans, Coral Reef Ocean reading, and Great Lakes regional reading here is what we can suggest. You’re Not “Too Sensitive,” You’re Accurately Reading the Field

If you’ve felt:

  • like your spoons evaporated in the cold,

  • strangely numb and then suddenly weepy,

  • or frustrated that your motivation doesn’t match your to-do list…

…you’re not broken. You’re in relationship with a living Earth: hot oceans, freezing lakes, hard domes of pressure, thawing edges, and all.

This week’s invitation:

  • Phase 1: Let your system admit how hard last week was.

  • Phase 2: Allow some emotional slush without judging it.

  • Phase 3: Choose a sustainable flame instead of an emergency fire.

Your body is not the enemy of your spiritual path — it’s the instrument through which you read the field. May this forecast help you treat that instrument with the tenderness it deserves.

Local Pattern Prediction

  • Post Lock-Down Hangover

  • Thaw Lines + Emotional Slush

  • Choosing Your Pace

REMINDER-These are only predictions not actual results or factual. For daily updates check out Earthseed Circle on Patreon for data comparison and community chat.

Phase 1: Thaw - Post Lock-Down Hangover (possibly Sunday + Monday)

Forecast shape: After an Arctic Crystal Lockdown, the weather can improve faster than our bodies do. Your cells don’t know what the thermometer says; they only know how hard they’ve been working to keep you warm and alive. Air still on the cold side, but less vicious than last week.

Pressure not quite as extreme, but the body still expects it to be. Great Lakes ice increase = the emotional water is frozen but less chaotic.

What that usually feels like:

  • Root: still on “Is it really safe yet?” alert.

  • Solar Plexus: tired from running emergency protocols; motivation may be very low.

  • Heart & Throat: dry, crackly; emotions can feel muted or brittle.

  • General somatic vibe: tired, sore, flat, or randomly snappy.

How to use it:

  • Call these days Recovery Days, not productivity tests.

  • Focus on:

    • Warm, grounding food (broths, stews, warm grains).

    • Gentle movement: stretching, light tidying, slow walks inside.

    • Early nights / slow mornings when possible.

  • Self-talk cue:

“My body just ran a marathon in place. I’m allowed to move slowly while I integrate.”

Phase 2: Thaw lines + Emotional Slush (possibly Tuesday-Thursday)

Forecast shape: As the Arctic dome relaxes and the pattern becomes a bit more changeable, we get Thaw Days — not necessarily warm, but less brutally locked down.

Field Feel

  • Slight wiggles in temperature, sky cover, and wind direction.

  • Oceans still warm → background emotional volume stays high worldwide.

  • Great Lakes: more ice, but the edges and channels hold moving water — symbolic melt lines.

What that usually feels like:

  • Sacral & Heart: begin to unfreeze.

    • Feelings that were numb may start to leak — tears show up, irritations surface, old stories bubble.

  • Third Eye: more aware again; you may notice more synchronicities, daydreaming, or mental chatter.

  • Mood may swing: a bit more hopeful one hour, heavy or weepy the next.

    How to use it:

  • Name this as Thaw, not “backsliding”:

    • Of course you’re moodier — frozen water doesn’t flow cleanly; it sloshes and slushes on its way back to liquid.

  • Good days for:

    • Journaling + “What is actually moving in me right now?” check-ins.

    • Light home reset: laundry, dishes, fresh bedding, altar dusting.

    • Short somatic practices (2–10 minutes): shaking, humming, hand-on-heart breathing, gentle yoga.

  • Ask yourself once a day:

“What wants to melt today — and what can stay in the ice for now?”

Phase 3: Choosing Your Pace *Direct fire of peace (possibly Fri-sat)

Forecast shape: By the end of the week, two things overlap:

  • Oceans remain energetically loaded → potential spikes of motivation, passion, or anger.

  • The regional waters are more frozen and structured → a serious, practical tone beneath the surface.

This creates a choice point.

Field Feel

  • You may feel little bursts of “Okay, I want to DO something now.”

  • Weather still not gentle, but less extreme than the lockdown days.

  • Nervous system is partly recalibrated, partly exhausted.

Feel:

  • Root + Solar Plexus : more stable; easier to plan/organize.

  • Emotional volume settles from "full orchestra" to "solo instrument".

  • You might still be tired from the week, but clarity returns

  • Realization of "Okay! Now I can see what needs to happen".

How to plan:

  • Solar Plexus: wakes up and wants a project or a decision.

  • Root: still cautious; doesn’t want to overextend.

  • Crown/Third Eye: clearer windows where big-picture thinking returns.

This can become either:

  • Push + Crash (old pattern)or

  • Focused Flame – one or two intentional actions with real recovery built in.

Your own way to work with these phases is to ask yourself "Is today in the aftershock, swirl, reset phases?" or check out the Earthseed Circle and get daily updates on which phase is actually coming through. Below is a free Daily Field Scan of this Sunrise findings. Earthseed Circle members receive all Daily Field Scans (Sunrise/Afternoon/Evening Comparison).

I track these for my own personal energetic and nervous-system integration as well as for my clients who are sensitive to the frequencies on and around our planet.

If you are in the Upper Midwest region, notice how your body responds this week as the pressure rises and falls, the clouds drop and lift. You are welcome to share your own Field Scans with me or join on Patreon where post my personal daily scans, ritual, and printables.
